This 1870’s trunk came to me from descendants , missing parts but in decent shape with the exception of the interior . I refinished the exterior , made handsewn leather handles like the originals , and leather straps , and re-lined the interior . A very beautiful and sound trunk .

Care Instructions

Dust to clean. If desired, use a small amount of furniture wax on a dry cloth on the body of the trunk and baseball glove oil (on the handels) occasionally to bring back the luster of your piece.
Avoid direct sunlight and avoid extreme cold or heat.
Do not soak in water and avoid any contact with sharp objects. In case of any spills, immediately touch up with a clean, dry cloth.
